My husband is an avid stamp collector and I have amassed a huge over flow of his stamps.

In this case, I glued vintage post stamps from all over the world onto a modified wood panel. Created a postmark out of gold and blue leafing, representing a blue whale and the words Balboa Island.

The entire piece is covered in epoxy resin and then mounted onto another wood panel painted a deep black/navy (Payne’s gray).

The piece is ready to hang and very luminous.
